Britelite was a cheap than Maglite but it looks and feels a hundred times better than some Chinese brand flashlights.

Rhino or Solidworks (Rhino is way cheaper).. You didn't state if you have any prior experience in product design. If not, keep coming up with the ideas and HIRE someone to do the CAD work. If you really want to learn the software, consider the possiblity that the product idea may be obsolete by the time you are able to create a single model.
